Коэффициент Джини является числом между 0 и 1, где нулю соответствует полное равенство (когда каждый имеет одинаковый доход), а единице — абсолютное неравенство (когда один человек имеет все доходы, а все остальные — нулевой доход).
Распределение доходов может существенно отличаться от распределения богатства в стране.
